Support Jeremy's Fight Against Cancer
Our dear friend, Jeremy Kneeland, owner of The Goat Brewing Co, is in the fight of his life being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer last August. What began as unexpected news has quickly turned into a challenging journey, filled with difficult treatements, uncertainty and overwhelming medical expenses. As of late March, Jeremy has completed 16 rounds of chemo and has learned he is a candidate for treatment to his lung lesions as well as a Whipple procedure to remove his pancreatic lesion.
While insurance covers part of his care, some promising, potentially life-saving treatments/drugs are not covered, leaving significant out-of-pocket costs for him and his family. These treatments offer hope - hope for more time, more memories, and more moments with the people he loves most.

Whiskey Wednesday!
As always, all open bottles of whiskey are 25% off a pour from 4pm-10pm. We have over 35 bottles of different Bourbon, American, Rye, Irish, Japanese and Scotch Whiskey's to try. This week we are opening 2 new bottles.
The 1st bottle is Highland Park 12-year single malt Scotch Whisky. This Whisky is lightly peated, offering a balance between coastal smoke and sweet, fruity notes. It is spicy and well-rounded, with flavors of Seville oranges, fruitcake, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and molten heather honey layered over subtle peat smoke The Whiskey Wash+1. The whisky is approachable, making it a good introductory Scotch, though some enthusiasts may find it less complex than older or cask-strength expressions
The 2nd bottle is Benriach 'The Twenty One'. This Speyside single malt Scotch Whisky is matured in 4 different casks; ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, ex-red wine and virgin oak. The flavor notes are "viscous and mouth-coating, with notes of caramel, heather honey, green apple, raisin, apricot, and caramelized fresh fruit like pear and pineapple" - whiskyforeveryone.blogspot.com. On the finish, "Medium to long, smoky, ashy, and oaky, with layers of cigar box, toasted malt, and lingering fruit."
These 2 bottles will be opened at 7pm.

Do you know this guy? I'm sure you do. Although you may not recognize the picture from 14 years ago (we asked for a picture, he didn't send us one). Join us as our own Joey in da Hizzouse brings another one of his talents to The Goat. On August 29th, Joey will share his Jazz and Blues musical talents to The Goat (we think, he hasn't really told us what he is playing, but we know it is gonna be AWESOME).

The Goat Brewing opened March 6, 2021. We brew an assortment of American, Belgian & German beer styles, ciders, meads and seltzers. There is plenty of seating in our taproom & picnic tables outside. Four Large TV's showing most sporting events & surround sound to enjoy a variety of music in a very enjoyable atmosphere.
