Whiskey Wednesday!
February 11th
As always, all open bottles of whiskey are 25% off a pour from 4pm-10pm. We have over 35 bottles of different Bourbon, American, Rye, Irish, Japanese and Scotch Whiskey's to try. This week we are opening 1 new bottle.
The 1st bottle is The Glenlivet 14-year Single Malt, Cognac Cask finished Scotch Whisky. Previous releases of this blend have been rated as high as 90, by whiskeyadvocate.com. They note it as "Spicy red wine notes on the notably aromatic nose, with vanilla and light cinnamon. Good texture in the mouth, sweet, and very approachable, with tangerines, toffee, dates, sultanas, and milk chocolate. Liqueur chocolates in the smooth, lengthy finish. Not overly complex, but robust and extremely drinkable." whiskeyadvocate.com
The 2nd bottle is Blue Run Kentucky Straight, High Rye Bourbon bottled at 111 proof. Flavors noted as "silky texture introduced in the front of my palate to cherry pie filling, vanilla, and brown sugar. At mid-palate, I tasted apricots, plums, and cinnamon spice. Flavors of white pepper, bold rye spice, and barrel char were on the back. The finish is an enduring finish of white pepper, cherries, apricots, rye spice, and barrel char." - whiskeyfellow.net

The Goat Brewing opened March 6, 2021. We brew an assortment of American, Belgian & German beer styles, ciders, meads and seltzers. There is plenty of seating in our taproom & picnic tables outside. Four Large TV's showing most sporting events & surround sound to enjoy a variety of music in a very enjoyable atmosphere.
