Whiskey Wednesday!
March 4th
As always, all open bottles of whiskey are 25% off a pour from 4pm-10pm. We have over 35 bottles of different Bourbon, American, Rye, Irish, Japanese and Scotch Whiskey's to try. This week we are opening 2 new bottles.
The 1st bottle is Old Soul Straight Bourbon Whiskey TinType #2. This 9 year cask strength, unfiltered bourbon came from only 20 barrels. It is noted on the palate as soft dried fig flavors mingle with caramelized brown sugar and creamy vanilla, accented by warm nutmeg spice. The finish is pleasantly grainy with lingering sweetness, showcasing the bourbon’s grain character.
The 2nd bottle is Talisker Single Malt Scotch Whisky. 2023 Special Release The Wild Explorer. Rated a 91 on Whiskey Advocate. they describe it as "white port is noticeable first, soaking up the saltiness of seashell-decorated sandcastles and spices to leave a dry crisp nose, with later floral and fruity notes joining a peaty tang of green herbal and oily fish aromas. Red apple, cherry, cranberry, raspberry, and morello cherry flavors become dry and mouth-drawing before breaking into salted caramel creaminess with banoffee pie and a forceful spicy finish."

Freon Cool is a band consisting of 3 lifelong musicians who have been playing around the KC area for well over 30 years. While our roots are in progressive rock, during the dark days of Covid we took a step back and imagined a simpler sound. We stripped things down and went acoustic. This allowed us to showcase our vocals and musicianship in a whole new way. But we have begun to add back in select electric covers and a handful of our own tunes. We are eclectic in our song selection and enjoy the occasional mashup. It’s always a pleasant surprise when listening to Freon cool!

The Goat Brewing opened March 6, 2021. We brew an assortment of American, Belgian & German beer styles, ciders, meads and seltzers. There is plenty of seating in our taproom & picnic tables outside. Four Large TV's showing most sporting events & surround sound to enjoy a variety of music in a very enjoyable atmosphere.
